1.「a soul forever haunted」是「被纏身的靈魂」。
2.「f’ing」是fucking的縮寫。
3.「left to win this fight」翻成「被留下贏得這場戰役」在中文會顯得太囉嗦，「遺留奮戰」是我想到最好的答案。
4.「I never planned...」我從沒打算，就是「那並非我的意思」。
5.「fills my head with dreams」英文有兩個意思，一是跟隨著夢境充滿腦海，二是以夢境（之姿）充滿腦海，中文無法兼顧。
6.「when I made it back home」我想過要用「凱旋」一詞，但意境似乎沒那麼順。
7.「you’re thrown into a fray」中的fray應是指心靈上的衝突，因此用消磨一詞。
8.「don’t do what I did」翻譯成「別步上我的路」最符合，「別步上我的後塵」或「別重蹈我的覆轍」感覺不太對，「別走我這條路」和「別跟我犯同樣錯（遺棄女兒）」是有點差別的。
9.「You were the one I needed and you left me as I always feared you would.」這句語法好漂亮。母女對唱和合唱這段是整首曲子的高潮。
10.「It doesn’t matter how the petals scatter now. Every nightmare just discloses it’s your blood that’s red like roses.」合唱這段是兩兩一句，完整的句子是「現在花瓣如何散落已不重要，每場惡夢揭露了那如玫瑰的紅是妳的血。」
